My First Blog

Ok so I've never actually written a blog but to keep from annoying my husband with stupid random thoughts, stories, and opinions I have decided to start. 

First of all so you all can get to know me I will tell you a little about myself. I am a housewife at the present time with only the time to think, read, watch movies, and think some more. This tends to cause an overload in opinions and anything else that comes into my mind. So instead of dumping it all onto my husband when he gets home and overloading his brain I have decided to give in to the craze of blogging. I have recently moved to Los Angeles, CA and after almost 7 months of being here still cannot find a job, it's very depressing. I am coming up on my first wedding anniversary Nov 2. I have a cat named Cesar who delights in driving me crazy and clawing the crap out of me, my furniture, and my Old Navy flip flops. 

Most of my interests branch off of each other so I will give you the generalized version so as not to bore you too much. I am interested in books (reading them and reading about them :) ), movies (generally all kinds but can be particular at times), music (everything except techno, to my husbands dismay),  sports (mostly running, football, and basketball, though I have been known to watch a rugby and lacrosse match or two), being outdoors (all of it, ATVs, hiking, biking, horseback riding, camping, seriously, all of it), travel, baking, and World of Warcraft (though I promise not to be a WoW blogger, that is far too nerdy for me). I also enjoying being the typical female, you know, shopping, manicures and pedicures, getting my hair done (most relaxing thing in the world is having someone else wash your hair and massage your scalp :) ). So that is the gist as far as hobbies but other interests include history, re-enacting (I have now done both Medieval and Revolutionary War, Civil War gets way too complex for me and isn't fun a lot of the times), and the arts (I have been to the Cincinnati Ballet's performance of The Nutcracker almost every Christmas since I was about 6, been to a few art museums and galleries, and love going to and being in plays). 

Ok so I think I have given you plenty of background on myself that my future blogs will make a little sense and you can have a little insight as to who I am and what I like. Hopefully this will help my blogs make a little more sense.
